JD, LL.B., equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm.
Experience working on discovery and litigation matters, particularly on responding to subpoena requests and handling discovery motions, productions, and depositions.
Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status) in the state in which the position is located.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience responding to subpoena requests with a focus on discovery, including developing response strategy, conducting investigations into relevant data sources, and managing the collection, review, and production of data.
Experience with technology related consulting services or commercial technology transactions.
Understanding of FRCP rule 45 and the legal framework for responding to third-party subpoena requests.
Highly organized, strong attention to detail and an action-oriented mindset, with the ability to meet important deadlines and work well under pressure.
Proactive, entrepreneurial approach to recognizing needs, solving problems, anticipating issues, and developing solutions; excellent business judgment and strategic thinking.
