Operates and maintains stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures.
Job Description- Uses hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units.
- Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards.
- May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels. Keeps daily assembly production records.
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
- Typically requires a high school diploma.
- Typically reports to a supervisor.
- Works under moderate supervision.
- Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.
- Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.
