Job Description

  • Develop new features, Improve current image processing algorithm to achieve better sensitivity and stability.
  • Analyzing current signal and noise to understand what is the limitation from current algo.
  • Provide new solution prototype and test them in-house and on-site.
  • Provide algorithm technical support for escalations in various of product life cycle phases onsite.
  • Interacting with cross-functional teams and customers to address issues and investigate solutions.
  • Investigating feasibility of advance algorithm for next generation product through collaboration with technology and system architect group.
  • Provide prototype algorithm solution for special customer engagement project at customer site.
  • Working with product system engineering team to define the algorithm performance specification and use it to guide the algorithm design and implementation.
  • Act as the algorithm representative during system level hardware/software integration, trouble shooting.
  • Participate in software quality assurance activities required by the software development process.
  • Occasional (<=10%) travel to HQ for cooperation with HQ team is required.
  • Troubleshooting on customer site (<=50%) is required.

Qualifications:

  • Strong C/C++ programming skill is a must.
  • Strong CUDA programming skill is highly desired.
  • Strong python and/or Java programming is a plus.
  • Solid theoretical background in image processing, computer vision and deep learning.
  • Research and/or software development experience on Unix/Linux platform is a plus.
  • Background in computational geometry, or design file (OASISS) is highly desired.
