As a Software Development Project Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing software projects to deliver high-quality solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure the timely delivery of projects within budget and scope. Your expertise in project management methodologies and best practices will be instrumental in driving innovation and continuous improvement within the team.You will report directly to our Senior Project Manager, and you'll work out of our Fort Mill, SC location on a Hybrid work schedule.In this role, you will impact the successful delivery of software projects, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations.Lead and manage software projects to deliver high-quality solutions
•Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope
•Ensure timely delivery of projects within budget and scope
•Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
•Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
•Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
•Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery
•Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns
•Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and practices

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software project management
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex programs and projects on time and within budget
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Experience in risk management and problem-solving
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
• Experience leading programs using agile framework
• Experience navigating and driving results in a highly matrixed organization between engineering partners, product management, and sales teams
• Proven experience leading teams to create and execute plans that meet business and market requirements, with clear deliverables, owners, and holding owners accountable
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience in managing software projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
