About this role:
- Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Operations Processor (S1).
- An Associate Operations Processor is responsible for investigation of payment inquiries from Global clients (internal/external) that arise due to incorrect SWIFT, Telex, FED payment instructions and/or investigation of the validity of the funds being transferred to/from the Correspondent Bank.
- Investigates payment related inquiries or services to clients (Financial Institutions) which includes sending SWIFT, FEDWIRE and CHIPS messages; Return and cancellation of payments; Hold funds in the general ledger and re-effecting payments.
In this role, you will:
- Perform general clerical operations tasks that are routine in nature
- Receive, log, batch, and distribute work
- File, photocopy, and answer phones
- Prepare and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
- Regularly receive direction from supervisor and escalate questions and issues to more experienced roles
- Work under close supervision following established procedures
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ months of operations support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree holder, preferably Business courses
- Experience in Banking Operations, Payments, Settlements with knowledge in SWIFT, Telex and Intellitracs is an advantage or preferred
- Open to fresh graduate ( completed Business, Accounting or any Finance related degree )
- Sound Risk management mindset and a good understanding of compliance, AML / OFAC
Job Expectations:
- Corrects and creates different payment message types ( SWIFT, FED WIRE, CHIPS, Telex ) used by the payment parties
- Team currently supports multiple pools – Unable to Apply, Debit Authorization, Amendment and Cancellation pool
- Amenable to work on shifts and PH holiday
- Amenable to work full-time onsite, Five/NEO, BGC, Taguig City
- Weekends Off
