Overview :
The Associate Director, Oncology Strategy and Operations will lead Oncology strategy cutting across Go to market, Patient Programs, Marketing, Sales, and Diagnostics. This role will drive the end-to-end program management to ensure successful implementation of Oncology strategy. This role will also support acceleration of commercialization efforts of upcoming indications, marketing effectiveness, and diagnostics excellence. This role is intended to serve as an accelerated platform for future commercial and / or functional leaders. This role will report into the Business Unit Director, Oncology and will be based out of Mumbai.
Commercial Go to Market Strategy:
- Sales Go-To-Market strategy: develop plan to and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement shift from existing primary-based to secondary-based targeting and incentives for the salesforce, aligned with the Key Account Model
- Oncology BU 5-year Strategy plan: lead cross-functional team to ideate levers to add materially additional revenue and operating margin vs. LROP; build business case for the same; align local and regional colleagues; develop implementation plan
- Develop and lead the tracking of KPIs to achieve Oncology BU 5-year Strategy plan, as well as existing critical KPIs
Patient Access Programs Strategy :
- Benchmark all specialty medicine patient programs to identify best practice models; based on benchmarking, develop specific patient access program options and corresponding business cases to increase access to IO in a fiscally sustainable manner
- Develop proposal (operational, costs, implementation plan) for new processes and controls to ensure no diversion or misuse of products meant for patient access – in alignment and adhering to regional guidance
- Develop non-traditional access strategies – including collaboration with external organizations, public accounts etc. – to materially improve patient access to IO; align internal cross-functional team and develop action plan to operationalize strategy
Job Requirements:
- Individuals with strong background in strategy & operation e.g. management consulting/ FMCG/Tech will be preferred
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in diverse settings
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Demonstrates behavior consistent with high integrity and strong values
- Education: Master’s or higher (Business and / or Policy preferred)
