What you need to know about the role-
Your day to day- Collaborate with various internal stakeholders including other ProductManagers, Engineers,Sales, Operations, and GTM teams to build complex, critical product offerings to PayPal's vast network of SMB and mid-market direct, and partner managed/ marketplaces merchants.
- Create detailed product requirements and use case documents to articulate desired product features and functionality to technical, user experience, design, and other cross-functional teams.
- Drive the end-to-end product development process, from ideation and requirements gathering to execution and launch.
- Use A/B Testing, analytics, market research, and competitive analysis to drive decision-making.
- Help define unbranded card processing product strategy, roadmap, and prioritization.
- Communicate effectively across all levels, both internally and externally.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, standards, card network mandates, and global regulatory changes.
What do you need to bring-- 7+ years of experience in product management within the payment industry, with a focus on CNP processing
- Strong technical background with a deeper understanding of card processing, 3DS, CIT/MIT framework, tokenization, and payment networks.
- Experience working in product-centric companies, with significant cross-functional internal and external dependencies.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to influence internal and external stakeholders and geographically dispersed teams to support new product initiatives.
- Highly flexible, and able to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines to execute well in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving organization.
