What you will be doing at Qualcomm

• Managing a small team of engineers developing systems software for GPU Hardware Development

• Work with the global GPU organisation to plan and coordinate prioritises for the systems team in Ireland.

• Triage and debugging regression failure of GPU benchmarks, games and tests caused by GPU user mode drivers in pre-silicon environment.

• Develop new features in GPU user mode drivers.

• Participate in code reviews.

• Mentoring and managing junior engineers.

What you will bring to Qualcomm

• At least 5 years of hands-on software development in C/C++ Experience in managing a high-performance team.

Nice to Have / Advantage

• Experience in Agile Management Frameworks like Scrum or Kanban

• Experience managing project using JIRA

• Experience in Graphics Rendering using API’s such as Vulkan or DirectX

• Experience working in Semiconductor companies.

• Comfortable working close to the hardware

• Willing to take challenge of developing drivers on bare metal GPU in a pre-silicon environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer or Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 7+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

Master's Degree in Computer or Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

PhD in Computer or Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
