What You'll Do:
You will:
- Oversee multiple areas within the Financial Planning and Performance Business Functions, owning the end-to-end strategy and delivery of capabilities including the day-to-day operations of the critical systems.
- You will collaborate with Architecture, Platform and Finance teams to understand business needs, build and deliver end to end solutions for business.
- Lead, empower and drive team to reach the established organization and capability goals.
- Analyze sophisticated business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers.
- Stay on top of investments, capacity, and project schedules.
- Lead the organization’s effort to develop and improve operations through efficient and effective coordinated processes, implementing common management processes/services to leverage organization resources.
- Lead a geographically distributed team of software engineers and analysts.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of demonstrated experience, OR Masters and 4+ years of progressive experience in engineering or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience managing software engineering teams in Enterprise Applications, consumer Web or SaaS products along with minimum 2 years of people management experience.
- Experience developing applications using Databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
- Experience supporting the Operations and Period Close Processes and Proficiency in Agile Principles and practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely.
- Hands on experience with Business Intelligence, Management Reporting & Financial Planning systems
- Working knowledge of Full-stack Engineering, microservice architecture, and large-scale application design and development.
- Knowledge of Cloud Technologies & Integration such as Mongo, Cassandra, ES, Kafka, MuleSoft and Boomi.
- Experience in managing large-scale platforms and/or infrastructure.
- Domain knowledge of Corporate Finance, Management Reporting, Data & Analytics is a plus
- Advanced SQL knowledge for data analysis and auditing
