What you will do

• Work in a cross-functional team to ensure the quality and delivery of a seamless user-space experience for the Red Hat In-Vehicle Operating System in alignment with functional safety requirements

• Design, develop and maintain automated test suites written in Python, Bash, and C.

• Onboard automated tests into a continuous integration (CI) workflow.

• Perform both automated and manual testing. Debug, report, and track issues and verify fixes.

• Assure continued quality and user experience of tested products and assess quality of newly developed and planned features. - Document and maintain test specifications and test reports.

• Provide timely, complete, and accurate test status reports to all stakeholders

• Focus on delivering customer value, analyze feedback, and enhance test coverage by automation

• Work in a fast-paced Agile environment

What you will bring

• Solid skills and background in Linux system administration, including system installation, configuration, Bash scripting and maintenance.

• Experience in C language, Python is a big plus

• Experience with software test planning, test case design, test script automation, and documentation is plus

• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with a global team

• Solid written and verbal communication skills in English

• Experience testing or developing a Linux package is a plus

• Knowledge of tools like Jira nad Git
