Job Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of various sustainability initiatives and projects related to team priorities such as Citi’s sustainability strategy, stakeholder engagement, and corporate disclosures.
• Conduct research and benchmarking analyses on sustainability and ESG trends, themes, best practices, and regulatory developments, to share insights, synthesize information and provide summaries and evaluations based on research findings.
• Develop presentations, talking points and other communication materials on sustainability and ESG-related topics and themes for engagement and track follow up needs and responses.
• Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to help promote and integrate sustainability initiatives across the bank.
• Contribute to data due diligence processes andhelp monitor and track progress towards sustainability goals and objectives.
• Help drive employee engagement and internal communication programs and respond to stakeholder inquiries and requests for information as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) related to sustainability, environmental science, finance, or a related field
• 2+ years’ experience in sustainability, finance, or a related area of work
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong analytical, research and investigative skills, ability to evaluate and assess complex topics and creatively problem-solve
• Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of ESG frameworks and reporting standards (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD, TNFD).
• Familiarity with sustainability regulations and industry best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to work well within a team while also a successful self-starter and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional work ethic, ability to work under deadline, strong attention to detail and sense of humor
