Summary of Responsibilities:
Serve as the liaison for recruited SG Tech program associates to welcome and support them throughout their journey, implementing strategies to boost engagement and retention
Serve as the primary POC including communicating with associates, managers, business leaders, stakeholders, and other partners across a range of levels, business functions, and geographies to ensure program success
Build and maintain relationships with key program stakeholders to facilitate the job rotation process, ensuring smooth implementation and ongoing optimization of the allocation and rotation experiences
Help to mitigate attrition and increase associate satisfaction and engagement by facilitating the Rotation Exception Application process and the Rotation Relocation process
Lead development and execution of engagement strategies to build a strong community that strengthens Capital One’s brand
Prepare incoming managers with updated processes and expectations while fostering consistently positive experiences across all touchpoints
Work closely with leadership to identify and implement enhancements that streamline operations and elevate the associate experience
Partner with key program stakeholders to execute signature events, both virtually and in-person, in order to foster community and create meaningful engagement opportunities
Consult with program council members to implement best practices and provide oversight with event planning and budget management
Own team budget responsibilities including forecasting, tracking, and auditing.
Manage vendor relationships and coordinate logistics for program events including swag, accommodations, travel, catering, and other external arrangements in alignment with Capital One standards
Manage comprehensive communications across multiple channels including team calendars, Google Sites, email, newsletters, and Slack
While this role is based in either McLean or Richmond, travel to our Mexico City office will be required at most once per quarter (travel sponsored by by Capital One)
Basic Qualifications:
Associate's degree or military experience
At least 1 year of experience working in program or project management or at least 1 year of working in employee development or engagement or a combination of both
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Professional working proficiency in Spanish
At least 2 years of experience in recruiting or at least 2 years of experience in other human resources roles or at least 3 years of marketing or at least 2 years of consulting or a combination of any of the above
Experience working at a technology company
Experience with project management
Experience with event management
Experience interpreting metrics and trends
Experience in Campus Programs or Recruiting
Proficient knowledge of G Suites including Google Slides and Google Sheets
High degree of professionalism and integrity when interacting with all customer contacts
Strong empathetic communication skills with varying levels of leaders and associates
