is responsible for measurement and management of market risk (interest rate and foreign exchange) for the Bank's retail portfolios. The team develops financial models and processes required for measuring, transfer pricing, hedging product profitability, and economic management reporting.

Job Description:
We are looking for a hands-on Technical lead to manage Business-As-Usual (BAU) related activities and the BAU team. Examples of BAU activities include (but not limited to):
- L3 support
- Business and Technology driven enhancements
- Audit remediation
- Non-Prod support
Responsibilities:
- Manage members of the BAU team,
- Partner closely with subject matter experts in business teams and other development teams
- Develop, program, and maintain Applications using Java, Spring Boot, Hadoop, Spark, MongoDB and HBase
- Build and manage custom Big Data / Spark pipelines.
- Work on technical direction for the product
- Work with stakeholders to understand requirements, build back log and work on prioritization Leverage best practices in continuous integration and delivery.
- Lead, inspire and mentor junior team members.
- Lead technical aspects of project from inception through to deployment.
- Participate in analysis and system design specification sessions.
- Ensure that solutions adhere to development best practices and architectural principles.
- Apply analytical skills to resolve problems and deliver viable solutions.
- Anticipate obstacles and execute proactive approaches to issues.
- Work closely with Architect, Infrastructure, ITS, IT System Build Environment Management teams to ensure that environments are fully functional and that builds are properly deployed.
Job Requirements:
- Undergraduate Degree, Technical Certificate, or equivalent experience
- Experience leading technology teams of 5 to 10 people
- Experience providing L3 Support
- 7+ years of experience with Java 8 and frameworks like Spring, Spring MVC, Spring boot, Spring Security (OAuth, LDAP), Spring Data (JPA, JDBC)
- 7+ years of experience with REST APIs
- 5+ years of experience with large scale Big Data platforms on Hadoop and Spark
- Experience developing multi-threaded applications and developing Micro Services using modern technology stack.
- Experience with development tools and frameworks such as Maven, Jenkins, Gradle, Git, and Nexus.
- A passion for simplifying and automating work, for making things better, for being efficient and helping others.
- Good communicator with strong written and oral communication skills
Nice To Have:
- Experience with Autosys for jobs scheduling
- Experience with Azure PaaS and Databricks
- Experience with Angular, React.js, React-Native, Redux
- Experience with Python
- Azure cloud certifications
- Experience with Delta Lake
- Experience working on Banking Domain Projects
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience
