Key job responsibilities· Define the vision for analytical approach, reporting strategy, and new metrics for cross-organizational initiatives.
· Proactively identify, analyze, and solve business problems with focus on understanding root causes and discovering significant forward-looking opportunities.· Work closely with Product Managers, Software Development Engineers, Technical Product Managers, Data Engineers, Process Engineers, and senior management to define and build reporting and analytic solutions that allow us to make data-based product and business decisions that make it easier to sell on Amazon.· Create and maintain tools, reports, and analyses which support senior leadership and various teams throughout the organization.

- 10+ years of professional or military experience
- 5+ years of SQL experience
- Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
- Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
- Experience with AWS technologies
- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
- Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining
