What you'll do
As Junior Developer you will be an active member of an scrum development team. At the beginning you will be thoroughly trained in all technical, functional and business process related topics, which you require for a smooth start. An experienced colleague from the same team will be your mentor and will support you in taking over full responsibility for tasks such as
- Design, implement, test (automated and manually) and maintain specific product features, primarily in the S/4HANA backend (ABAP), and adhering to high quality standards required for developing our applications
- Analyze and resolve issues identified during tests, upgrades or productive customer usage
- Contribute to quality assurance, test automation and performance improvements
What you bring
Key requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Financials, Business Informatics, Engineering or related field
- Proficiency in software design principles and object-oriented programming
- Strong database knowledge
- Interest in financial business processes
- Quick learning, strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills and attention to detail to identify issues and improve product quality
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Language skills:
- Good written and verbal communications skills in English
Beneficial skills:
- Experience with Financial Accounting
- Experience in Test Automation
- Experience in agile software development is an advantage (Scrum, Kanban etc.
