As a Loan Servicing Associate I in the Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) Approval Team, you will be responsible for executing internal control discipline and operational excellence within Wholesale Lending Services (WLS). As a primary point of contact to internal & external stakeholders, you will review high priority transactions and proactively communicate both verbally and in writing as required.

Job Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret complex credit documentation, determine operational feasibility, provide feedback and recommendations as warranted.
  • Be responsible for accurate and timely review of Commercial Loan advances, principal payments, reprices, settlements, and manual transactions.
  • Provide feedback to Servicing Teams on operational market trends and correlated risk
  • Initiate reviews for funding activities; manage the funding process with Corporate Treasury, syndicate lenders, and risk team.
  • Verify Calculation and tracking of complex interest and fee accruals at various rate levels across changing lender distributions.
  • Confirm all conditions precedent have been met and compliance items meet the established banking guidelines for all transaction types.
  • Demonstrate accurate and timely completion of customer service and research in accordance with the credit agreement.
  • Minimize credit and business risk through awareness of procedure, compliance, and bank policy.
  • Reconcile exception reports and make system adjustments as needed.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3 or more years of Commercial or Asset Based Lending operations experience
  • Extensive knowledge of reading and interpreting post-close credit agreements
  • Strong analytical thinker who can identify connections between various pieces of data and systems and quickly articulate client impact and risk
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize competing demands
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills and ability to interact with people in all levels of the organization
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • High attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with strong Excel skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Loan IQ experience
  • Risk Management experience
  • Project Management experience

This is a hybrid role which requires going into the office 3 days a week with 2 days flexibility to work from home, which is subject to change.

Final Job Grade and officer title will be determined at time of offer and may differ from this posting.
