REQUIREMENTS:This position requires a Bachelor degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering or related field and 8 years of work experience as a Bridge Engineer or related occupation
SPECIFIC SKILLS:Expertise/ experience with: Large, multidisciplinary bridge design and engineering projects. Project management and task order management. Structural and bridge analysis and design software, at least two of the following: Midas Civil CSi Bridge, LARSA, SAP2000, LPILE, LEAP Bridge/ConSpan/PGSuper, MDX, spColumn, AASHTOWare BrR. Technical standards for bridge design, construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance including AASHTO LRFD and state-specific guidelines. Alternative project delivery models including Design-Build (DB) and Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC). Multiple structure types including precast concrete girder bridges, steel bridges, light rail bridges, high-speed rail bridges, bridge widenings, rehabilitations, load ratings, and design of bridges in moderate to high seismic areas.
