As a Specialized Loan Transaction Coordinator within Wholesale Lending Services, you will coordinate between Structuring, Trading, Credit, Product Control, Finance, and other Wholesale Lending Services groups in order to ensure smooth loan originations within the Structured Finance business. Custom Financing Support will provide loan transaction coordination support to the Global Markets desk in support of their loan origination business.

Job responsibilities

  • Support Global Markets lending with the execution and closing of complex loan transactions, including originations, refinancing's, and amendments.
  • Coordinate communications between Structuring, Trading, Credit Risk, and operational stakeholder groups in order to ensure smooth funding to the client.
  • Collect and review legal loan documentation for operational feasibility, optimal execution mechanics, regulatory requirements, and mitigation of operational risk.
  • Advise on funding mechanics and operational requirements as it pertains to internal booking locations, regional and currency policies.
  • Liaise and coordinate pre-closing requirements with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate internal Know your Customer (KYC) review and Flood due diligence
  • Assist with ad-hoc inquiries from Borrowers, Lenders, and Arrangers pertaining to the closing process and ongoing maintenance of the deal and schedule internal conference calls to ensure pre-closing requirements have been met and resolve / escalate any outstanding issues

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business (or equivalent experience)
  • 2 years of experience in Syndicated Loan operations
  • Previous experience reviewing credit agreement documentation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to identify and escalate issues early and to propose new solutions for issues that arise
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Prior knowledge of accrual basis accounting
  • Experience with Loan IQ
  • Prior experience in working with front office (Sales/Structuring/Trading)

Work schedule

  • This hybrid role requires going into the office three days a week with two days' flexibility to work from home, subject to change
