As aData Platforms Architect, you will be responsible for translating the client’s business requirements into specific systems, applications and/or process designs for custom technical solutions. Designs, develops and implements total systems solutions to the enterprise-wide technical requirements of customers. You will work with the IT Architecture team to balance the needs of sales and delivery to design a solution that meets or exceeds the requirements of service delivery.

•Manage the design of multiple service areas or technologies within a broader services solution; as well as, overall technical implementation for large and complex engagements
•Responsible for a technical team in developing solutions to complex business problems
•Participates or leads in customer presentations at the senior executive level
•Supports research, discovery, planning and implementation efforts to improve business processes
•Implements the information technology architecture and the total systems solutions to the enterprise-wide systems requirements of the customer

Essential Requirements

• Build, Scale, and Manage Highly Available Distributed Data Platforms across multiple Data centers, such as Object Storage, Compute Engines, Analytics Engines, and Query Engines

• Strong in data platform engineering frameworks with deep troubleshooting skills in Open Source Compute Engines ( Spark, Trino, Flink), Data Lake Analytics Engines ( Iceberg, Hive), and Catalogs ( Nessie, Unity)

• Working experience in the Kubernetes platform, including Operator Model and Helm charts development and management, and preferred to have a CNCF Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)

• Proficient in expert scripting and automation skills, converting manual and maintenance functions into fully orchestrated automation using Python and CI/CD frameworks such as ArgoCD and GitLab Workflows

• Strong foundational knowledge of Object Storage systems, Security & Identity, Unix systems fundamentals, and Standard network protocols

• Participate in Platform architecture discussions, influence product roadmap, and take ownership and responsibility over new projects
