Depth of experience:
A seasoned professional with a minimum of +15 years’ experience who has been working in the field in theme park operations, entertainment, or attractions management, preferably with Middle East experience. The Senior Project Manager of Attractions and Shows is responsible for overseeing the entertainment, ride operations, and overall guest experience within the themed zones and lands through construction phase and into the pre-opening services phase assisting the operator take over and prepare to run the assets.
This role will oversee the complete project lifecycle across attractions, including elements of in ride facilities, ride systems, show controls, area development, SFX, SAE, Show Control, Theming and all associated infrastructure.
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams of consultants and contractors, maintaining the overall project vision, delivering high-quality guest experiences, and ensuring that each zone is completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of creative, technical excellence and expectation.
- Project Leadership: Direct and manage all phases of project development for assigned zones — from design team assistance through construction, installation, commissioning, and turnover to the operator
- Scope Management: Oversee the delivery of all components including facility architecture, ride systems, show systems, theming, media, lighting, audio, special effects, and area development.
- Team Coordination: Lead multi-disciplinary internal and external project teams including creative, technical, design, engineering, and construction partners.
- Budget & Schedule Control: Develop, monitor, and manage budgets and schedules for assigned zones, ensuring financial and milestone targets are met.
- Vendor & Contractor Oversight: Manage vendors, consultants, and contractors; issue scopes of work, RFPs, contracts, and change orders as needed.
- Risk Management: Identify project risks early and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between leadership, creative teams, operations, and external partners for assigned zones.
- Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest standards of show quality, guest experience, and operational readiness in all project deliverables.
- Back-of-House Development: Ensure that critical back-of-house functions are fully integrated into the overall park design to support world-class operations.
- Compliance: Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, regulations, safety standards, IP requirements and expectations.
