Role Description:
In
Marketplace, you’ll work at the heart of our business - where our mission is to unify traveller experiences and accelerate ’s pursuit of the Connected Trip. You’ll have the opportunity to create products used by millions of travellers around the globe across different platforms, from web to app.
In this role, you'll partner directly with highly iterative product teams, while enjoying the support, community and resources of a large, experienced UX organisation made up of nearly 200 writers, designers and researchers. You’ll report to the UX Writing Manager for your area who will support you in your growth and development.
UX Writers at write clear and concise quality messaging that considers the end-to-end user experience. You need to be an excellent communicator and collaborator – we work in a dynamic and diverse environment where inclusivity, openness and modesty are key. Almost everything you write will be translated into 44+ languages and dialects, and you’ll need to work closely with peers and collaborators like Marketing, Brand and Legal to deliver at velocity and scale

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Write clear and concise copy across multiple online channels and platforms that impact key business metrics
Send copy to Language Specialists with sufficient context (conceptual and visual) for translating your ideas to a local audience
Collaborate with your fellow UX Writers to ensure copy is consistent across all user experiences
Create copy-focused experiments using persuasion techniques to support product goals and your copy strategy
Use qualitative data, quantitative data and important metrics to measure the impact of your copy and transform those insights into new iterations
Work with UX designers, researchers, product managers, product marketers and many others to develop and implement business strategy through copy
Qualifications & Skills:
You have a minimum 3 years relevant experience in UX Writing – this includes past experience working in e-commerce or data-driven product teams
You have a native level fluency in English
You have a portfolio that demonstrates your UX writing experience
You’re a passionate advocate for users, dedicated to the craft of writing and creating elegant user experiences
You are technically savvy, with an understanding of experimentation and deriving data and insights from quantitative and qualitative research
You’re self-motivated and take ownership of your ideas to solve challenging problems in an evolving environment
You are a strong communicator, you possess a keen attention to detail
You are able to prioritise multiple projects and collaborators
