You'll own the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and closing deals. What You'll DoOwn the full sales cycle for UK&I, unlocking key retailers in high-growth verticals like Grocery, Pharma, Alcohol, and other strategic retail sectors.
Drive top-of-funnel activity by creatively prospecting and pitching new businesses to build a robust pipeline
Negotiate and close complex deals with key stakeholders, guiding them through a multi-stage sales process
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including onboarding specialists, marketing, and operations, to ensure merchants have a strong launch and hit the ground running
Act as a strategic partner during the first four weeks, ensuring new merchants achieve early success and strong performance on the platform
3+ years of experience in a sales, business development, or commercial role, preferably within the retail or grocery sectors
A proven track record of delivering sales targets and successfully managing a long, complex sales cycle
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a consultative selling background focused on building long-term partnerships
A go-getter attitude with a strong sense of ownership and resilience
Proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce for pipeline management and reporting
A strong understanding of the UK&I Retail market and a network within the sector is highly preferred
