Minimum qualifications:
Preferred qualifications:
- Associate's degree, trade school certification, other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of Electrical, Mechanical/HVAC, or Controls/Automation experience in an industrial/commercial environment.
- Experience with UPS Systems, Electrical Safety, Electrical Maintenance, and Electrical Infrastructure Systems
- Ability to lift and move 50 lbs of equipment, and work on platforms, ladders, and under raised floors.
- Ability to work non-standard hours and rotations/shifts as required.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in maintenance of electrical distribution systems, construction/technical environment, or a related field.
- 1 year of experience in a data center or critical facilities environment.
- Knowledge of electrical systems used in a data center environment (e.g., Feeders, Transformers, Generators, Switchgear, UPS systems, ATS/STS units, PDU/PMM units).
- Knowledge of meters, devices, sensors, and troubleshooting utilizing standard hand tools, digital metering, or calibration/diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to communicate with contractors who perform maintenance or upgrade work on the data center systems.
