Key Responsibilities:

  • Combine/validate categoryrangeplans from BU, and finalize into a holistic, full store format assortment plan (width only)
  • Sense-check, feedback and confirm the final output of each store formatagainst brand and commercial objectives(product type, launch flow, marketing calendar, mandatory range, retail space, consumer journey, etc.)
  • Output all merchandising boards for all store formats
  • Handover assortment plans to Visual merchandising Team for output of Visual Merchandising(VM) renderings
  • Handover assortment plans to the Account teams for store level planning and depth completion
  • Deliver assortment plan(AP) presentationsat Seasonal Sales Summit and provide material and support for Sales Training, Accounts Pre-lines, Tenjikai
  • AP room Sample merchandising / Managementtogether with BU Category and VM for Sales Training, Accounts Pre-lines, Tenjikai
  • Sell In & Sell Through tracking & analysis
  • Validate buy plan (where applicable)

  • Go To Market(GTM) Planning&Insight and BU
  • Brand Communications
  • Sales Channels (Wholesale Key Accounts, Retail Buying, e-Commerce)
  • Account sales and category sales, buyers

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Marketing, merchandising and/or retail experience, with a distinct track record of success
  • Strong presentation/communications skills
  • Advanced user of MS Office suite of products
  • Solid merchandising experience with retail end in mind
  • Passion for sports

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree in Business or equivalent professional experience, ideally in Sales and/or Marketing
  • Minimum 3-5 years relevant working experience
  • Intermediatein English
  • Fluent in Japanese
