What You'll Do:- Work with a highly collaborative team, taking the lead on project management processes, including working to scale existing processes for the review of new products. This role will primarily support the Mobility & Delivery Product Legal team, which focuses on Uber’s mobility and delivery product launches.
- Build and implement legal tools, playbooks, and policies tailored to AI/ML technologies, ensuring consistent and effective legal oversight for a given line of business.
- Serve as a front-line reviewer, working under the supervision of an attorney, to evaluate and provide feedback to business stakeholders on AI/ML proposals, product launches, and operational proposals.
- Develop and refine workflows for evaluating AI/ML-driven proposals, product launches, and operational initiatives, ensuring timely and thorough legal assessment.
- Design and scale efficient processes for legal AI/ML reviews, streamlining approval workflows, managing stakeholder input, and advancing critical issues for resolution.
- Identify gaps in current review and operational processes, particularly those involving AI/ML, and build scalable solutions to support an ever-growing product counsel team.
- Act as a key liaison between the Product Legal team and cross-functional partners to drive alignment and streamline workflows for AI/ML-related projects.
Basic Qualifications- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in legal program management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of legal matter management processes and systems.
- Experience using AI/ML tools and methodologies, with demonstrated understanding of related legal, regulatory, and ethical considerations.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$124,000 per year - USD$137,000 per year.
