Drafting and negotiating a broad range of product, licensing, subscription, confidentiality, and services agreements.
Maintaining corporate governance for local subsidiary and supporting corporate changes.
Providing legal support to RRHH, Global Procurement, and Finance.
Closely collaborating with key cross-functional stakeholders.
Performing continuous improvement of standard form agreements, policies and processes.
Ability to work independently, prioritize workloads and communicate with all levels of the organization including senior management.
Developing strategies to deal with outside counsels in the Region, to direct their work and ensure their cost-effectiveness and quality.
Excellent interpersonal skills and capacity to work in multidisciplinary non-legal groups. Ability to prioritize work, effectively manage a large number of issues at one time.
Background/Qualifications:
Law degree and 5-10 years of relevant in-house experience, preferably software licensing transaction experience.
Knowledge of public contracting practices in Brazil.
Licensed to practice, in Brazil.
Strong negotiation skill.
Ability to work in collaboration.
Advanced communication and written skills.
Fluency oral and written in English and Portuguese.
Experience in with I.T. agreements is a strong plus.
