- - - - What the Candidate Will Do ----

1. End-to-end test design, execution and maintenance of new features in the UberEats space with US product/engineering teams and offshore/onshore testing vendors
2. Serve as a dependable point of contact between cross-functional teams and offshore testers
3. Implement flexible processes that meet team needs and help keep the teams working efficiently
4. Ensure regular regression testing of existing features is done in a timely manner
5. Identify quality gaps and recommend tech, process and tooling improvements
6. Communicate issues related to testing and propose solutions to remedy issues
7. Work with offshore bug management team to ensure that bugs are triaged and follow up to resolution
8. Work closely with offshore testers to ensure that their deliverables are of high quality and on-time
9. Work closely with Release Management to ensure timely release of our apps
10. Translate Product/Engineering Requirements into core flows and test cases
11. Driving alignment with peers, managers and cross functional teams (engineering, operations, release, data science, program management, external testing contractors/entities)
12. Leading multiple testing efforts simultaneously, distributing work for and track parallel testing projects
13. Acquiring and sharing subject matter expertise in the product application/features being tested
14. Project management and delivering successful outcomes
15. Self starter who has a keen eye for improvement opportunities
16. Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment

- - - - Basic Qualifications ----

1. Manual testing consumer facing mobile and web applications
2. Project management (software testing related projects)
3. Written and Spoken English language competency
4. Familiarity with iOS and Android devices, web browsers
5. Familiarity with MacOS environment

- - - - Preferred Qualifications ----

1. Testing experience (4+ years)
2. Quality assurance of global consumer applications in a continuous integration/continuous delivery environment
3. Testing highly scalable end-to-end web and mobile experiences
4. Working across different time zones (US/India mostly)
5. Experience processing and analyzing data sets to recommend/make improvements
6. past rideshare / delivery industry experience (roles in customer support etc qualifies)
