In this role you will use your creativity and knowledge ofconveyor fundamentals to design innovative and efficient solutions to ourcustomers’ material handling needs. You will work with both sales and customersto understand project requirements, then meet those needs with mechanicaldesigns for both new conveyor systems and modifications to existing systems.You will take ownership of your design throughout the pre-sale process,coordinating a cross functional team through cost estimating, proposal documentcreation and leadership approvals.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate customer needs to usable design requirements
• Design systems utilizing Honeywell standard offerings and outside purchased products
• Balance design optimization with customer budgetary constraints
• Ensure cost and schedule estimates are consistent with historical company performance
• Assist in writing proposals that are both technically correct and easily readable by customers
• Support Sales in customer meetings throughout proposal cycle

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical degree
• Basic AutoCAD knowledge
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
