Job Description:

This hybrid role encompasses both the development of robust web applications and the assurance of its quality through the creation of comprehensive automated test suites. As a Software Engineer intest ,you will be instrumental in building and testing world-class experiences, working in close collaboration withDevelopers, UX, Research, and other stakeholders.

Your day-to-day job duties include:

  • Front-End & Mid-Tier Development:Design and develop user interfaces and APIs for web applications,leveragingexpertisein React, Node.js,GraphQL, and REST.

  • Testing & Quality Assurance:Ensure application quality through a variety of testing activities, including test plan creation, defining quality acceptance criteria and functional test automation. Experience with one or more of the following tools is desired:Front endautomation(Selenium, Playwright,Cypress)andAPI automation(Postman, and RestAssured)

  • Partner with product and designers to deliver quality applications that meet both functional and aesthetic requirements.

What do you need to bring:

  • A successful individual will have experience with:

Familiar with MVC/MVP software design

  • React,NodeJS, Angular, Vue

Experience working with mockups and making them come to life

  • Relevant technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SASS, LESS, Invision, Sketch

Tell us how the back-end affects front-end experiences more than just performance:

  • Relevant technologies: NodeJS, C#, TypeScript, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL

Worked on projects with source control/version or package management:

  • Relevant technologies: Github, git, npm

A successful individual will know more about the following:

Solid understanding of testing concepts and best practices on testing.

  • Relevant Skills: Playwright or Selenium Web driver or any UI automation frameworks

Experience working on a team following Agile sprints that are customer oriented:

  • Relevant technologies: JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence, git

Familiar with build tools and build pipelines including continuous development (CD), continuous integration (CI), and continuous testing (CT)

  • Relevant technologies: Jenkins, Bitbucket, Github, TeamCity, Octopus, npm, Selenium, webdriver

Understanding Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) to aid in debugging

  • Relevant technologies: Postman, cURL, Web Inspector, Swagger, datadog

Your day-to-day job duties include:
