Lead a 2-pizza team of SDEs in Santa Clara focused on defining, building and operating AHI’s DICOM compliance. As the founding leader of the team, you will evolve the new team’s charter, establish AWS OE best practices for the new service and build relationships with partner AWS service teams. You will partner with the product team to define AHI’s mix of standards based and AWS native interfaces for low latency imaging search, retrieve and edit operations. You will ensure customers can efficiently integrate their standards based medical imaging workflows with AHI. - 2+ years of engineering team management experience
- 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams

- 4+ years hands-on experience as a SDM leading software engineering teams and Data Pipeline projects
- Experience with Medical Imaging standards (DICOM, WSI, iSyntax)
- Experience with image transcoding
- Experience with AWS Search, Analytics and database services (S3, OpenSearch, DDB, Athena, Redshift, Aurora)
- Experience with AWS or other cloud data transform services (Glue, Kineses, Kafka, Spark)
