This role requires the candidate to conduct research and execute global Independence processes aligned
professionals' financial relationships to identify and report potential conflicts of interest with audit clients.inquiries and questions on various country and personal Independence-related topics
protecting the organization from the risks that may arise from its professional practice. We work closely with all parts
of the organization to identify and manage risks, providing coordinated advice and assistance on suite of services like
Independence, Conflicts, Compliance, regulatory, policy and security issues as well as dealing with claims and queriesquality/compliance related activities.
This role will be part of the largest sub-service function, i.e., Independence within Risk Management Services (RMS)conflicts of interest that could compromise an auditor's independence. This includes assessing employee financial and
personal relationships, conducting investigations, providing guidance on resolving personal independence matters,
and monitoring for new independence threats.

Independence processes.An Associate Analyst/ Analyst in the GMS team, will be responsible for developing a working knowledge of Personal
Independence concepts, including financial interests, family relations, and business relationships. You will execute

role, you will communicate with EY professionals and senior team members to resolve queries and gather information,
while learning from experienced professionals to become proficient in Independence processes.
• Build good understanding of financial products and markets, such as equities, structured products, and funds,
while executing work requests & projects from initiation to completion in line with established procedures.
• Perform research and analysis on EY professionals' financial interests and family relationships, including
brokerage accounts, loans, and insurance policies, to determine the permissibility of their investments
• Participate in wide range of projects and collaborate with project managers for timely completion of assigned• Take part in team discussions/activities, service functions/ organization wide initiatives
• Understand and work towards meeting and exceeding the defined individual KPIs for the role.
• Build working knowledge of different internal Independence tools used to record EY professionals financial andrelationships, loans, insurance policies etc.
• Candidate needs to be diligent and hardworking and be highly motivated, result oriented, with a strong willingness

Commerce, Economics or similar educational background
• Master’s degree (preferably in Finance) from a reputed institute is an advantage
• At least 2 years of experience in research and analysis in a professional services firm
• Well-developed analytical, interpersonal, and communication (both verbal and written) skills in English
• Basic understanding of financial products like equities, mutual funds, pension plans, insurance policies etc.• Experience in MS office suites like Outlook, MS excel, Word, SharePoint etc.• A team of people with technical experience, business acumen and enthusiasm to learn new things in this fastmoving environment.• A team that runs on foundational values of trust, respect, integrity and teaming.
