Main duties include:
- Ensure that consistent quality standards and conformance with design plans / specifications are maintained across the project and coordination with other disciplines to ensure consistency across the project.
- Write technical reports and specifications including functional descriptions for Mechanical systems.
- To engage with engineers, drafting, and design staff to fulfill deliverables.
- To lead and attend project/site meeting with Client, PM, and Consultants from other disciplines.
- Liaise and coordinate relevant technical issues with other disciplines.
- To build cultivate and build relationships with client generally as a Doer/Seller role.
- Support site supervision and plant commissioning activities when required.
- To help prepare proposals and bids.
To be a successful candidate, you shall possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering recognized by the Board Of Engineers Malaysia.
- Professional Engineer registration would be an added advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience to perform engineering tasks on the mechanical services detailed design (including calculations, computer simulations, specifications, etc), particularly in Data Center projects.
- Knowledge of relevant Local Building Codes and international standards to ensure compliance.
- Excellent in both written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with BIM and 3D models would be an added advantage.
