Your key responsbilities
- Perform evaluations of facilities and equipment for diverse objectives, and contribute to offering strategic guidance on asset management.
- Work collaboratively with an inclusive, dynamic team to examine financial data and engineering details, as well as to carry out cost and market studies.
- Engage in guided site visits to inspect a broad array of infrastructure, machinery, facilities, and equipment throughout Australia.
- Cultivate expertise in utilising our proprietary valuation model to determine estimates based on secondary market research, asset condition, replacement costs, lifespan assessments, and additional financial data.
- Interact with clients to coordinate project logistics and share insights from our analyses.
- Proactively support the team in identifying new prospects and drafting proposals.
This role includes regular interstate travel.

- A recent graduate in Civil or Mechanical Engineering seeking an exciting career path.
- Experience in plant and equipment valuation seeking to manage extensive portfolios of high-value assets.
- A background in property or business valuation eager to shift their focus to plant and equipment appraisals.
- A background in asset management looking to apply their expertise in a new sector.
- Skilled in financial analysis using Microsoft Excel.
- Competent in utilising other Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, etc.). Familiarity with PowerBI or other data analytics software is also considered an asset.
- Strong skills in interpersonal communication and client relations.
- Highly driven and motivated to excel within an expanding team that offers numerous opportunities.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- A relevant tertiary qualification is highly desirable. Suitable fields of study include Engineering, Property and Construction, Commerce, or Finance.
- Current accreditation with the Australian Property Institute (API) as a Certified Practicing Valuer (Plant and Machinery) CPV (P&M), or an equivalent ASA or RICS accreditation.
- Prior experience in plant and equipment valuation is favored.
- Robust business insight paired with outstanding skills in interpersonal communication and client engagement.
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and a business-oriented approach.
- Superior analytical abilities, communication proficiency, and collaborative teamwork skills.
