ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interact daily with internal and external clients
- Navigate and interpret complex legal documentation
- Timely and accurate processing of all loan and letter of credit activity for assigned portfolio including execution of payments (advances, principal, interest, and fees)
- Collection and remittance of funds from/to clients and bank group lenders
- Serve as liaison between Borrower and Syndicate members, providing excellent customer service while meeting tight deadlines
- Partnering with Portfolio Management team for coordination & posting of Financials and Compliance documents to SyndTrak
- Reconciliation of control reports and engaging with leadership daily on Key Risk Indicators
Additional duties include:
- Generating reports/data for clients and internal business partners
- Adhering to policies and procedures
- Collating system information for client audit requests
Minimum Requirements:
- BS/BA College Degree or equivalent work experience
- 2-4 years in a Syndicated Loan Operations role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced, time-sensitive, work environment
Preferred Requirements:
- Loan IQ
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to extract and apply principles from legal documentation
- Knowledge of operational, administrative, and accounting requirements for loan servicing
- Capable of identifying potential risks and having the ability to formulate mitigating solutions
- Extremely detail oriented with a proven track record of accuracy
- Comfortable interacting with various stakeholders including Clients, senior management and outside counsel
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Team-oriented work ethic that includes willingness to help others
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Prior experience with creating reports and/or queries for management or financial reporting
