Responsibilities:

• In collaboration with more senior team members, write, test, and maintain code for mainframe applications, ensuring code quality, reliability, and performance
• Participate in code reviews, providing/receiving constructive feedback to enhance code readability, maintainability, and adherence to best practices
• Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Follow Agile development methodologies, actively participating in sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and retrospectives

Preferred Education

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or global equivalent

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 0-2 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining software systems
• Experience in C and Python
• Knowledge of software testing principles and experience in developing testable code
• Experience with automated test suites
• Interest to learn mainframe specific and proprietary languages
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile teams
• Work closely with clients to resolve issues as well as develop & validate new features
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot software issues
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for learning and staying updated on the latest industry trends
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results within defined timelines

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience with Mainframe Networking Concepts
• Experience with TypeScript & React
• Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git or Endevor

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $59,000 - $95,000

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
