About the Role
- - - - What the Candidate Will Do ----
- Design end-to-end financial product experiences across mobile and web
- Partner with PMs, engineers, and researchers to align user needs with business goals
- Turn complex problems into elegant, intuitive solutions
- Contribute to and evolve Uber’s design system and visual standards
- Leverage insights from UXR and data to inform your design decisions
- Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure design quality in production
- Document your design work clearly to support alignment and handoff
- Participate in or lead design jams and sprints to rapidly explore and validate ideas
- Engage in critiques, give/receive feedback, and raise the team’s design bar
- - - - Basic Qualifications ----
- 5+ years of experience designing mobile-first products
- Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered, shipped work
- Proficiency in Figma (motion/interaction design skills are a plus)
- Solid understanding of design systems, accessibility, and responsive design
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in Portuguese and English
- - - - Preferred Qualifications ----
- Experience in fintech, payments, or other regulated industries
- Proven ability to simplify complex problems with strategic thinking
- Experienced in prototyping and interaction design, with a strong interest in motion design and growing expertise in bringing interfaces to life.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Strong communicator who can clearly explain design rationale to diverse teams
