Are you experienced in managing a biosolids processing site and want to join our Jacobs’ collaborative team in Farmington NM? This is a position where you'll be self-motivated and in charge of the activities associated with final disposal of biosolids from wastewater treatment. Working with other members of our team you’ll organize assist, optimize operations, maintenance, and improvement of the Biosolids Management. You’ll also analyze operational process control procedures, maintenance procedures, and institute changes when necessary to achieve full compliance with regulatory agency water quality and solids disposal requirements and be responsible for accurate operational records and prepare reports required by the client, regulatory agencies, and facility manager.
• CDL and Experience with heavy equipment and farm machinery
• State of New Mexico composting license, Wastewater Treatment Class II or ABC Wastewater Treatment Class II, or experience and education to obtain within 1 year.
• Ability to operate SCADA systems and other computerized equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Valid driver’s license with no major infractions
Ideally, you’ll also have:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• BA/BS degree in environmental science or related field
• Self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, strong technical problem-solving skills
• Capable of working independently and maintaining an orderly schedule
• Understanding of the technical aspects of the facility to be managed
• Demonstrated interpersonal relations and personnel management skills.
• Experience developing and working within an approved budget. Specifically tracking costs, adjusting activities to stay on budget, and optimizing labor and materials.
• Proficient with financial budgeting and reports, specifically experience preparing operational reports for both internal and external clients.
