Key Responsibilities

Interfaces with external customers for requirements analysis and schedule.

Assist in training junior level engineers in departmental procedures, corporate procedures, and detailed product operation. Lead work groups and troubleshooting forums.

Functional Knowledge

• Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines
• Windows Operating Systems including, but not limited to: Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008, Window 10, Windows 7, Windows XP, and/or Windows CE 7
• Ability to troubleshoot and reimage standalone computers using tools such as Windows PE, ImageX, and/or Norton Ghost
• Installing various software packages, through WiX, MSI, and other install methodologies
• Use of software log files to diagnose root cause for software issues
• Networking including TCP/IP, WAN, LAN, EtherCat, DeviceNet, Serial, and how to troubleshoot communication issues
• Virtual Machines using VMWare software utilities
• JIRA and Confluence platform, used to submit software issue tickets to development teams

• Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
