• Good understanding of how to test and measure image and video quality in the lab, including experimental setup, capture automation, and quality metrics.
• Knowledge of image characteristics that determine quality, including contrast, sharpness, color accuracy, and noise.
• Python programming for image processing, data manipulation, file management, or automation of lab experiments.
• Hands-on experience with objective and subjective image quality evaluation, including color accuracy, noise reduction, HDR, tone mapping, and sharpness.
• Strong understanding of imaging systems, including camera sensors, optics, image signal processors, and computational photography techniques.
• Knowledge of photography lab equipment and experience operating camera systems in a lab.
• MATLAB programming for image processing, data manipulation, file management, or automation of lab experiments.
• Obj-C/Swift programming for app development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate and work cross functionally.
• Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in one or more of the following fields: Image Science, Color Science, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent educational experience in digital imaging.
