As a Sr Systems Test Automation Engineerwithin our (BA) BuildingAutomation business unit, specifically within the Fire Software team, you willbe a key contributor to the development of development, testing and automation of software solutionsfor commercial fire safety and protection.

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in productdesign, development, testing, and automation to create and enhance innovativefire safety solutions. Your focus will be on developing systems that ensure thehighest levels of safety, reliability, and functionality.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Test Automation:
    • Develop and implement automated testing strategies to enhance product reliability and performance.
    • Utilize software solutions and APIs to build efficient testing frameworks .
  • Product Design and Development:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop cutting-edge fire safety software products. You will define product specifications and ensure that designs adhere to industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Scale Handling:
    • Design and optimize solutions that can effectively manage large-scale systems,ensuring they are efficient and robust across diverse operational environments.
  • Product Mindset:
    • Maintain a customer-centric approach throughout the product lifecycle.Continuously innovate and iterate based on user feedback to enhance productcapabilities and responsiveness to market needs.
  • Embedded Systems Knowledge:
    • Apply your embedded systems knowledge to support product design andtroubleshooting, ensuring seamless integration between hardware and softwarecomponents.
  • IOT Solutions:
    • Drive the integration of IoT technologies into fire safety software solutions, improving connectivity, functionality, and overall user experience. Deeper expertise on IOT protocols
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in automation, test, software product design, and/or development
  • Strong technical expertise in software solutions.
  • Proficiency in system development, test automation and software development methodologies.
  • Experience with API development and automationin the context of product testing and development.

  • A degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, ora related field
  • Solid understanding of IoT solutions and their applications.
  • Demonstrated experience in scaling systems effectively.
  • Previousexperience in a fast-paced software development environment will be highlyadvantageous.
  • Familiarity within building automation, fire safety or related domains is of value
  • Excellentproblem-solving skills and a proactive approach to project challenges.
  • Strong analyticalabilities and attention to detail.
  • Effectivecommunication and collaboration skills to work with internal and externalstakeholders.
