Description
The Systems SRE organization needs a strong leader to manage critical infrastructure components including provisioning, configuration management, security and more. Working closely with team, you'll help run critical core infrastructure used by rest of Apple.
Key Qualifications
  • Experience with distributed systems
  • Demonstrable success leading engineering teams; ideally SRE or Production Engineering
  • Knowledge of core operating system principles, networking fundamentals, and systems management
  • Understanding of SRE principals, including monitoring, alerting, error budgets, fault analysis, and other common reliability engineering concepts
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization
  • Proficient in at least one of Python, Golang or Java
Education & Experience
BS/MS in Computer Science or Equivalent (5+ years of software development or production operations experience in a large-scale environment)
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $192,700 and $289,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
