Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Material Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of troubleshooting/failure analysis experience with consumer electronics products and technologies.
- Experience with one of the following: CT, SEM + EDS, mechanical cross sectioning.
- Experience in project management.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with manufacturing and assembly processes common to consumer electronics.
- Experience with root cause analysis, failure mechanism, and corrective action processes.
- Experience with mobile or consumer electronics manufacturing.
- Strong people and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in at least 1 programming or scripting language.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time to US repair depots and China-based factories.
