Who You Are

You will be experienced in the following areas:


Solutions Engineering Leadership
  • Technology leadership: technical vision and strategy for customer CTO level priorities.
  • Team leadership: Define and drive specific cultures to attract, retain and develop the best solution engineering talent in the industry: coaching, mentoring, career development, and career pathing within and outside the direct team.
  • Partnership with sales and technical senior leadership, the team, customer, and extended team (development/business units (BU's), CX and Service Delivery) in daily execution and running the business -" actions and execution," not just words. Acknowledging that the Solution Engineering team is, and acts, as a critical part of our Sales Organization with significant customer interaction and impact.
Solutions Engineering Management
  • Establish and complete efficient processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness to the SE team.
  • Optimize organizational structure (always happening) in partnership with Sales Leadership aligned to business priorities to overachieve top and bottom-line fiscal objectives while effectively meeting operational expense targets.
  • Ensure execution of all engineering programs relevant to your business.
CTO/Sales Executive Partner
  • Ability to clearly articulate issues, challenges, and gaps technically and from a business perspective.
  • Act as “CTO,” partner with the Sales Leadership and Account teams with the ability to clearly articulate the current state, needs, and challenges at the level of technical decision-making at our Customers and Partners.
  • Build deep trust based on a relationship with the goal of shared success, right hand, and technical advisor to the Country Manager.
Required Qualifications:
  • Fluent in English as well as German and/or French
  • Very high EQ; Intensely curious; Continual learner
  • In-depth knowledge in the most relevant technology areas, Enterprise and DC networking, Multi-Cloud, and Security.
  • Pre-sales solutions engineering leadership experience is required.
  • Knowledge of relevant solution sets, product line specifications, performance criteria, and applications.
  • In-depth understanding and experience in leading all aspects of sales pre-sales solution engineering processes—detailed understanding of organizational structures, management practices, staff development, and retention.
