The Director, Bioplant IT Leader is a role that requires both excellent managerial and administrative capabilities as well as IT subject matter knowledge. The Director, Bioplant IT Leader will manage all Yverdon specific IT resources and own IT for the site. The Director will liaise and be the point of contact with Yverdon top Management.

Specifically, The Director will manage the IT resources supporting Yverdon specific infrastructure, end-user services and local application support. All IT site resources will directly or indirectly report to the Director, Bioplant IT Leader.

The Director will interact with top Yverdon site Leadership working together to develop the strategy, design and support structure needed to support the Bioplant’s new manufacturing, Fill/Finish packaging capabilities and future volume growth. The Director will work with Site Leadership and the Associate Vice President, Global Tech Ops to sponsor initiatives in line with the new capabilities and future growth.

The Director will be responsible for the site’s IT financial management and adherence to the HR, compliance and training requirements of all IT personnel.

DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES

·Manages the site’s IT resources in support of Infrastructure, End User Services, related Manufacturing and Lab system support, local site applications

·Manages the site Application support team focusing on SAP and Werum support

·Works with the Associate Director, Tech Ops for Yverdon related needs and support of Corporate applications, e.g. LIMS, Veeva, Skyland, Analytics, etc.

·Communicates any needs, improvement opportunities, etc. to the Associate Vice President, Global Tech Ops

·Owns responsibility for the site budget, compliance, training requirements

·Together with his/her team and appropriate Site Business Leaders, owns the IT roadmap for the site

·Responsible for the financial management of IT related site spend

·Works with the local IT Infrastructure/End User Services Leader and Corporate Infrastructure resources to build a robust security system, application disaster recovery plans, critical system redundancy

·Contribute positively to a strong culture of business integrity and ethics

·Develops strong relationships within the Yverdon facility community

REQUIREMENTS

·Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

·15 + years of Pharmaceutical IT systems experience. Prior knowledge of or experience with the relevant applications (Werum and SAP) and broader Tech Ops functional area strongly desired

·Prior management of a team of 5+ resources

·Prior leadership responsibility for a team of direct reports (internal and external)

·Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

·Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with changing priorities.

·Experience in a manufacturing, packaging setting in a Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical company

·Knowledge of IT infrastructure area, hardware and software installation and support experience.

·Working knowledge of GxP compliance, FDA compliance, computer systems validation, 21CFR Part 11 regulations and GAMP guidelines.

·Must speak English and French fluently
