for Service Provider Alliance Partner
Service Provider (SP) Alliance Partner Sales Engineer – your role:
- Team with our SP Alliance Account Managers to build Juniper product and solutions business through our Alliance partners Samsung, NEC, and Rakuten
- Create awareness and drive preference for Juniper Products & solutions with our Service Provider alliances Samsung, NEC, and Rakuten
- Provide technical leadership with our Alliance Partners
- Build meaningful relationships with technical decision-makers at our alliance partners to understand business and technical requirements and influence and recommend appropriate solutions relative to the competitive landscape
- Present Juniper’s portfolio of solutions at alliance partner enablement sessions
- Resolve technical questions from our alliance partners
- Work with the various Juniper internal technical teams and Product Management to help drive product direction and share knowledge.
Requirements:
- You are analytical and able to resolve complex problems
- You have a positive outlook and are a constructive team player
- Have experience and knowledge in IP networking in any of the areas of management, routing, switching, and security
- Motivated by building business success through competing and winning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to discuss technical concepts to a variety of audiences
- Ability to deliver Technical sales presentations, white-board technical design sessions, and conduct product demonstrations/seminars
- Ability to work independently and remotely as well as in a team to accomplish goals
- Eager to learn new technologies and advance your professional skills
- Be willing to travel with a flexible attitude to working patterns
- Fluent Japanese and Engish speaking skills
Desirable requirements or potential to acquire:
- Experience in a client-facing technical sales role
- Knowledge of Juniper’s product line and technologies is desirable, although not essential
- Understanding of Cloud & Software-defined Architectures
- Understanding of infrastructure automation, server virtualization, application automation or container automation
