GES NA Operations Engineering is searching for an innovative and solutions-oriented Operations Engineers to root cause, solve, and scale systemic engineering challenges in First and Middle Mile Operations.You will work with a team of highly skilled and highly engaged engineers in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment. Our team works on hundreds of projects each year. You will be challenged; you will learn; you will work on high impact, high visibility projects; you will grow.Key job responsibilities
• Coordinate efforts to develop optimal solutions and processes for the sortation and transportation network through process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations.
• Collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions in very short periods of time.
• Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors.
• Effective communication skills, ability to execute the vision, detailed roadmap, and specific technical solutions.
• Travel Requirements : 50%A day in the life

- 5+ years of directly managing and responsible for multiple large projects experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience and strong technical background in relevant fields of automated or non-automated material handling equipment
