Responsibilities:

• Contributing to the architecture, design, development, test and operational excellence of the Python microservice architecture
• Understanding current secrets offerings and integration points with on-prem and off-prem kubernetes platforms hosted on cloud and classic infrastructure
• Partnering with centralized platform teams, DevOps teams, SecOps teams and the developer community in tackling complex design and engineering problems
• Driving technical advancements to continually improve the security posture within the firm
• Identifying deficiencies and working relentlessly to resolve them
• Building automation workflows using a heterogenous pool of CI/CD tooling
• Working with AWS, GCP, Azure services and HashiCorp where needed

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Highly motivated self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience designing or consuming HashiCorp Vault solutions or similar Programming
• Experience in Python and associated tooling (Git, IDE’s, Jenkins, Bitbucket etc.)
• Go and Java experience are nice to have
• Experience developing secure microservices using TLS, REST, and OpenAPI
• Knowledge of security best practices in relation to Secrets management a bonus
• Experience with public cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP or Azure
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD and agile methodologies
• Experience with Configuration management tools, terraform a big plus
• Experience working in a hybrid environment (office/remote) with global teams is a plus
• Good working experience and understanding in the domains of Linux and networking

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
