What we are looking for: You are an experienced Software Engineer who can help spearhead the development of voice-enabled photo experiences, integrating natural language interactions with our visual content platform. In this role, you'll innovate at the intersection of Alexa and photos , creating intuitive ways for users to organize, share, and experience their memories through voice commands.Key job responsibilities- Write clean, maintainable code and perform peer code-reviews.
- Contribute best-in-class programming skills to develop innovative, consumer facing device experiences using a variety of technologies.- Analyze and optimize applications to maximize speed and scale, factoring in network latency and bandwidth constraints.
- Improve Operational Excellence including latency and scalability.
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software with high velocity.- Collaborate with product managers and UX designers to develop requirements and create solutions.

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
