Description
As Cocoa 2D Graphics and Imaging Engineer, you will work on CoreGraphics, ImageIO, and related frameworks and have the opportunity to build and evolve the Objective-C and Swift APIs. You will collaborate with many other teams to deliver quality improvements and performance enhancements.You will help improving the security of our frameworks. You will deliver well-designed, robust, and maintainable infrastructure and mitigations that meaningfully improve end user security.
Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of programming languages Swift, C, C++ and/or ObjC combine with operating systems level engineering
- Sound understanding of graphics APIs and reliable familiarity with CoreGraphics, AppKit and UIKit APIs
- Deep understanding of system-level concepts including multi-threaded design, synchronization, and interprocess communication
- Ability to improve security and robustness of graphics framework
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- Knowledge of ARM or x86 assembly code and optimization
- Proven track record shipping outstanding software products
- Excellent collaborative and interpersonal skills with attention to detail
- Strong low-level debugging abilities
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
