OVERVIEW OF ROLE:

  • Responsible for developing and implementing a long-term strategy ensuring alignment with Workplace strategic objectives for digital delivery, automation, and innovation.
  • Day to day management of data analytics, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of KPIs and providing insight to business decision making and informing the Workplace team on the performance of service partner related contracts and activity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary responsibility is ensuring that the Workplace Technology Strategy is defined, led and executed in partnership with our internal and service partner technology teams and key stakeholders. In addition, to ensure the use of management information and data analytics to effectively monitor and report on the performance of the Workplace Services contract against agreed KPIs, SLAs and roadmap. Working with the management team, the position contributes to the development and implementation of organisational strategies, policies and practices. This position will also interact with key stakeholders in the business. Technical expert for workplace technologies and associated systems and processes.

  • Own, develop, maintain and improve the Workplace technology strategy, roadmap and budget, besides the associated operational systems, processes and policies.
  • Review and ensure that Technology elements within our service partners contract agreements and commercial terms and conditions meet the needs of the business, and satisfy customers expectations through auditing and collection of management information.
  • Ensure supply chain partners support the agreed technology strategy, innovate, work to financial and qualitative standards, meet customer expectations and are continually improved in line with best practice and leading thinking.
  • Undertake long-term planning to maintain service delivery and performance of our Integrated Workplace Services contract.
  • Support the Workplace team in development and delivery of any capital or revenue projects where Technology input is required.
  • Ensure sustainability is taken account of in the strategic planning, design and delivery of the technology and data services. Skills and attributes for success.
  • Ensure effective metrics are in place to enable accurate analysis and reporting on all data and contract performance operations thus enabling a proactive continuous improvement programme. Drive initiatives in the management team that contribute to long-term operational excellence.

GENERAL
RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Fully support the implementation and ongoing requirements of EY's ISO standards. Ensure relevant areas of Workplace are compliant with up to date and accurate policies and procedures, and where appropriate, actively contribute to continuous improvement programmes.
  • Support Head of Workplace Operations in managing the UK Business Continuity Plan and the implementation, as required.
  • Liaise with Head of Workplace Operations and Finance to develop budgets. Be responsible for Workplace Technology budget ensuring that spend is within plan.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE:

General (essential)

  • Relevant data analytics and experience of digital transformation within a professional services (or similar) environment.
  • Experience of leading or working with a data analytics team to deliver workplace
  • associated services to use available data sources to provide insights to inform direction of services and contract performance improvement.
  • Project management experience with ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Experience of preparing, reforecasting and reporting performance against capital and operating expense budgets
